George CourosInternational guest presenter, George Couros, is an innovative educational leader who is passionate about inspiring educators to transform their learning, through their own connectedness and by sharing their learning openly.

In this Masterclass, George will lead participants through the process of creating a digital portfolio, highlighting the importance of reflecting as a means to continue to learn and grow in their profession. This will lead to showcasing the participants’ work by connecting and sharing with others. George will support participants to do this themselves through blogging so that what they learn in this one-day workshop is practical and can be used after this workshop.

What participants will expect from the workshop:

Participants can expect to leave with their own digital portfolio and have a thorough understanding on how to create something similar with their students, which will showcase their work and can be aligned to the Australian Curriculum and achievement standards for assessment of learning.

Participants can also expect to learn about how to evidence the professional standards for teaching, touching upon the 3 domains: Professional Knowledge, Professional Practice and Professional Engagement.

Morning tea and lunch included.

This is a hands-on BYO session. Bring along your charged laptop and ensure that your laptop is configured to be used at another location. To test this, use your laptop at another venue prior to the workshop.
