The EdTechSA Leading Light award aims to recognise those within the EdTechSA community who provide inspiration to others in supporting the subject of IT and the use of ICT.
An EdTechSA leading light may be a teacher, pre-service teacher or technician, who has clearly made a valuable contribution to the IT / ICT community. However, they may not have had the opportunity to demonstrate their achievement of all of the selection criteria for the EdTechSA Educator of the Year or EdTechSA Leader of the Year awards.
Criteria for Selection
Applicants for the EdTechSA Leading Light Award need to provide evidence of their positive contribution to the IT / ICT community. To apply for the EdTechSA Leading Light Award, applicants need to address (as much as possible) the selection criteria for the EdTechSA Educator of the Year Award.
