The CEGSA Leading Light award aims to recognise those within the CEGSA community who provide inspiration to others in supporting the subject of IT and the use of ICT.
A CEGSA leading light may be a teacher, pre-service teacher or technician, who has clearly made a valuable contribution to the IT / ICT community. However, they may not have had the opportunity to demonstrate their achievement of the selection criteria for the CEGSA Educator of the Year or CEGSA Leader of the Year awards.
Criteria for Selection
Applicants for the CEGSA Leading Light Award need to provide evidence of their contribution to the IT / ICT community. To apply for the CEGSA Leading Light Award, applicants need to address (as much as possible) the selection criteria for the CEGSA Educator of the Year Award.
