Junior Lego League – Hands On STEM Enrichment
10 March, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Junior Lego League (known as FLL Jr) is an exciting STEM opportunity for middle primary students from Year 1 – 4 that is the younger sibling of the well established and world renowned First Lego League competition. The program is a hands-on season based challenge that combines the Lego WeDo kit with the season’s theme Inspiration Set that involves students solving a human based problem using Lego to express their ideas. In this session, you will hear from students involved in the program about how it works, what is required and how Prospect North have enabled and grown this program for their students. You will have a chance to use some of the same materials and team up with Prospect North students to gain insight to how you might want to be involved at your own school.
