The CEGSA site now contains ‘members only’ areas. Every single active CEGSA membership has been linked to the CEGSA website and this means that, if you are a paid up member of CEGSA, then you now have access to the members only areas and content.

As a member what do I have access to now?

You will have exclusive access to:

  • Certain blog posts
  • Video content from Past PD sessions
You will be able to comment in the CEGSA forums (coming very soon) and will no longer have to tell the system that you are a member when you book for an event.
Our new member system will also automatically send you an email to let you know when your membership is nearly up. We know you will want to be reminded because once your account expires you will lose access to these exclusive website member benefits!


I’ve been a member of CEGSA for a while. How do I log in for the first time?

Each active membership already has an account set up on this site. To access the members only content you need to log in.

The login in link is in the top right hand corner of the site.  When you click on it you will be taken to a page on which you can fill in your username (usually your first initial and family name) and then your password.  If you have been a member since before 11/11/2011 and this is the first time you are logging into the site, then you won’t know your password.  To get started click the “Forgotten Password” link  found on the log-in page and you will be emailed a brand new and very secure password.  Use this to log in.

How to I change my password?

Passwords can be changed on your membership profile.  You can access this by clicking on the “member profile” link in the top right hand corner of the website.  You will then see the personal information that you’ve shared with us and, underneath your email address, there is a place to enter a new password.   Simply type in your new password into BOTH fields and then click the “update” button at the bottom of the screen.

We recommend that you then log out and back in using your new password before continuing.

How do I Update my Membership Details?

Every member has their own profile.  We strongly suggest that you visit your own profile page and check that we have all of your information correct. Once you have logged in, you can access your profile by clicking on the “member profile” link in the top right hand corner of the website.  From here you will see  all of the contact details we have for you on file and there is the option to add an image (which you can use to represent yourself in forums and when commenting on posts) as well as the option to change your password to something you might remember.


How can I add an image to my profile?

Your Member Profile is the place where you can change the image that represents you in comments and in forums.

If you already see a picture on your profile it’s because our site is designed to use any Gravatar image that you might have already set up. You can override this by uploading a new picture.  The usual size is 98px by 98px

How can I find out when my membership is due?

Your membership profile will display the date on which your membership will expire.

Log into the site and check out your profile by clicking on the “member profile” link.
