CEGSA is very pleased to have Summer Howarth as one of two invited speakers at the upcoming state conference.  Summer Howarth is a Middle School Year Coordinator at Ravenswood School for Girls, Sydney. She is also a member of the Middle Years of Schooling Association Management Executive, is active in the MYSA Sydney network and an organiser of TeachMeet Sydney.

As a recent graduate from Macquarie University with a Masters in Geographical Education, Summer’s research is currently based in exploring the use of space in schools (both physical and virtual) from Teaching Spaces into Learning Spaces.

Summer describes herself as:
a passionate educator from Sydney. The possibility of education and the scope of opportunities for learning drives me every day. I am always inspired to learn more, think widely and dream up better things for my students”

With such fantastic passions as these who wouldn’t want to hear what she has to say!
