Tony Brandenburg, Program Director, Teacher Support at Education Services Australia is presenting an information session on the Teachers Information and Ideas Exchange.
Teachers Information and Ideas Exchange Overview
Scootle Community is an Australian Government funded project managed by ESA to provide a social media platform for all Australian teachers. The platform will facilitate discussion about the implementation of the Australian Curriculum. The intention is to support regular, dynamic, digital exchanges of information and ideas to enable teachers to embed innovative practices, use of technologies and improve pedagogy in the context of implementing the Australian Curriculum. The information will be a mixture of text and images and include audio, video and other file formats. It is recognised that interaction with experts, drawn from organisations such as ACARA and AITSL, and peers is an important element of the platform.
This is an opportunity to meet with Tony and to discuss this innovative national social media service. It is expected that all teachers from across Australia will be able to participate in the exchange. As the Teachers Information and Ideas Exchange is a ground breaking service there are perhaps many questions to ask and many possibilities to discuss with Tony.
This session will be held on:
Wednesday, 10th April, 7pm
at Cowandilla Primary School
