lightning sneeze  Windy hotMelbourne: September. AFL Grand Final. Unless you are a supporter of either team in the final you won’t really be too interested. (I am a Collingwood supporter so my interest this year is nil). The weather could be good or bad, Melbourne is known to be like a Crowded House song: 4 seasons in one day.

rainingSydney: October. NRL Grand Final. See above for interest factor. I also read that there is a greater chance of rain in Sydney in spring,

tollBrisbane:A lovely bay but no proper beaches. A 1 hour drive to get to a proper beach that isn’t a mudflat. Speaking of going for a drive, be prepared to pay Tolls, Tolls and Tolls.

Perth: A long way from the rest of Australia.australia

bridgeHobart: No bridge so can’t drive easily to Adelaide.

crocodileDarwin: Territory Government has a website that tells you how to be crocwise, enough said!

The Rest of Australia/The World: Not Adelaide!

Adelaide: A magical place. September/October, brilliant weather, a large number of things to see and do. Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek & Adelaide Hills wine regions on the doorstep.  Great restaurants. Central to the rest of Australia.

An amazing National Conference with International and Australian presenters over a broad range of topics that will interest a wide range of educators.
